Fruit of the Loom is one of the largest manufacturers and marketers of printable casual and industry workwear. As with many brands, social media is playing an increasingly important role in their marketing mix. They therefore asked Matrix to help create an email to their client base, encouraging them to get involved through various social channels.

With the inclusion of animation to help encourage click-through, we had to make sure the email was responsive across all platforms to get maximum impact across the target audience. Whilst working closely with their lead agency on suitable creative options, the Matrix team set up a branded email sending platform using Campaign Monitor – one that allowed them to track open rates, click-through and user engagement. The build of the email required rigorous testing across a range of platforms and devices to ensure that the animation and languages worked correctly.

Our Solution

The email campaign was a big success, increasing their social following and boosting brand awareness and engagement. The email was also featured on a blog in the ‘Top 100 Email Newsletters of 2015‘. In addition it provided Fruit of the Loom with an email sending platform to build on their success with future campaigns.
