Creative thinking for stylish wall coverings
Graham & Brown, an official ‘Cool Brand’, has grown into one of the world’s leading wall decoration groups. With a growing demand from a global audience, the company wanted to feature as much of their range as possible – several hundred patterns – on their website. However, with many of the older patterns only existing as physical samples, Matrix were brought in to provide an alternative solution to photography.
Matrix developed an innovative way of working from the multiple digital files that were available for use in the printing of the wall coverings. By colourising each layer to match the supplied samples, we then created one digitised colour correct image for each one, optimised for use on the Graham & Brown website as sample references.
Through this innovative and cost-effective solution Matrix was able to provide Graham & Brown with these previously unavailable assets and extend its full back catalogue to all global markets through its website. This greatly enhanced the user experience as well as helping to build brand presence and ultimately drive sales of its back catalogue.
